Hearts and Roses Sampler by Sweetheart Tree

I am proud to present this beautiful sampler that was featured in the magazine "Cross Stitch & Needlework"  May 2007.  It is such a gorgeous design.  There are beads, paillettes, specialty stitches (Upright Herringbone, Diamond eye, Half diamond eye, Scotch stitch, oblique Herringbone) and of course the beautiful red heart.
I will be finishing this up in a Clock Frame from Olde Colonial Designs.  Once it is framed I will add the picture for you all to see.

You may click on the picture to enlarge them

below you can see some of the beads & the hearts stitched as "Rhodes Heart"

a closer look to the "Rose Cabochon Heart Charm"

more specialty stitches show up here

so pretty and dainty...

below is the magazine where the design was featured:

  1. Congratulations Despina that is a beautiful finish and I look forward to seeing more of that cute frog.

  2. You did a beautiful job on that, especially on the Rhodes heart. Mine always turn out a little "lumpy" LOL!

  3. That is beautiful. Great job on it!

  4. Wow this had been on my to do list for a while. Yours came out just beautiful!!!

  5. It looks great mounted in the clock! I love it!
